Voice Logging Legal Considerations

Federal Law in the United States requires that a minimum of one party to a conversation be aware that the conversation is being recorded by phone recorders.  However, this requirement may not be sufficient enough for specific states.  In a two party conversation, the second party is also required to be informed that a phone recorders are taking place. 

Therefore, it is suggested that users of Digital Voice Logger Technology and phone recorders check with local authorities or local counsel prior to monitoring and recording communications.

This also goes for any user outside of the United States, as most countries have laws or statutes regarding the activity of recording conversations.
